On October 2, 2015, PJSC “MOESK” (belongs to the Rosseti Group of Companies) was given a Certificate of preparedness for the autumn and winter period 2015-2016. This document confirms completion of all the scheduled activities aimed at preparing the electric grid facilities of the Company for the winter.


The preparedness for the autumn and winter period of nine branches of PJSC “MOESK” with the total headcount of over 15 thousand people was checked by a Special Commission composed of representatives of the Ministry of Energy of Russia, the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological, and Nuclear Supervision, EMERCOM of Russia for the Moscow Region, relevant ministries and agencies.

The Certificate of preparedness was given to Pyotr Sinyutin, the General Director of PJSC “MOESK”, by Andrey Cherezov, the Deputy Minister of Energy of Russia, who noted the high professionalism of employees of the Company and the quality of the works completed to prepare the electric grid facilities of the Moscow Region for the winter.

Pyotr Sinyutin, in his turn, thanked PJSC “MOESK” personnel for the teamwork and emphasized that all the preparatory activities were aimed at ensuring reliable and uninterrupted electric power supply to residents of Moscow and the Moscow Region.

It was also noted that in 2015 PJSC “MOESK” introduced new staff units being mobile teams that combined the functions of the repair and operation and field service teams. By the beginning of the autumn and winter period, branches of the Company have 228 mobile teams that can perform any complex electrical works.

In preparation for the autumn and winter period 2015-2016, there were repaired over 2 200 km of overhead transmission lines and about 150 km of cable lines, 218 power transformers and about 1630 transformer substations. The planned works to widen and clear 3 000 ha of forest corridors were completed.

A centralized emergency equipment stockpile was formed by the Company to survive the winter peak loads period. 147 mobile power stations with the capacity of over 30 MVA were prepared for operation. The transport units were provided with fuel and components. The plans to purchase automotive and special purpose machinery were fully implemented and cover 3 303 vehicles, including 2 726 special purpose vehicles.
