From 6:00 p.m. of 31.12.2010 through 11:00 a.m. of 01.01.2011, power specialists put into operation 2 power lines of 110 kV: Saburovo-Vidnoe 1 and Dedovo-Dukhanino, 5 lines of 35 kV: Gzhel-Sidreevo, Esino-Emtsovo, Shakhovskaya-Nasosnaya 1, Shakhovskaya-Nasosnaya 2, Leonovo-Maiskaya.
The transformer substations in the number of 46 pieces in the Podolsk District of the Moscow Area, 146 pieces in the Ramennsky District, 6 pieces in the Shahovskoy District, and 18 pieces in the Ruzsky District were connected within the same period.
From 6:00 p.m. of 31.12.2010 through 11:00 a.m. of 01.01. 2011, 998 trees were removed from wires, 152 wire spans were restored, and 45 supports were replaced.
This enabled restoration of electricity supply of 30 inhabited localities during the past New Year's night.
Two inhabited localities in the Shahovskoy District of the Moscow Area with the population of 206 people remained without constant electricity supply as at 11:00 a.m. of 01.01.2011.
The system of electricity supply of the Moscow Area was within the statistically average standard of failures of feeders of transformer substations and overhead power lines.
The system of power supply is worsened by the heavy snowfalls and gusty wind of the last night.
Power specialists continue restoration of reliable delivery of electricity in the Moscow Area.
