Power engineers of “Moscow United Electric Grid Company”, colleagues from operating companies of IDGC Holding, OSJC and contractors continue to work at 35-110 kV transmission line routes in order to restore reliable power supply to Moscow region.

On January 12, within a day, 1519 fallen trees were removed from the power transmission lines in 0,4-10 kV distribution line and 10,6 km of the wire was restored. During the daylight hours 126 emergency response and repair teams consisting of 506 people and 48 units of special machinery conducted the works.

Today, on January 13, 2011, 349 teams of power engineers and specialists from contracting organizations will take their working places. 1608 people and 141 units of special vehicles will be involved in the transmission line recovery during the daylight hours.

As of 8:00 hours of January 13, 2011, 52 transformer substations, from more than 30 600 being under the Company’s service, remain de-energized in JSC “MOESK” area of responsibility.

The repair and restoration works related to elimination of technological disturbance consequences in the bulk electrical power system and in the 6-10 kV distribution grid of JSC “MOESK” will be continued in Moscow region in order to secure required parameters of the regional consumers’ power supply reliability.

Performance of the planned repair actions will require a shutdown of electricity consumers in a number of settlements. In area of “Southern Power Grids” responsibility: in Podolsk district (Davydovo, Dubovka, Chirikovo, Tovarishchevo, Akulovo, Luzhki, Drovnino, Lagovskoye, Zmeevka, Vyatkino, Zhokhovo, Nikonovo, Ryazanovo, Astaf’evo, Borodino, Kostyashevo, Severovo, Yerino, Rybino, Armazovo, Tarasovo, Studentsy, Devyatskoye, settlement L’vovsky), in Serebryano-Prudsky district (big village of Uzupovo), in Kashira district (Taraskovo, N. Ledovo, Blagovo, settlement Vyselki), in Ramensky district (Chulkovo, V.Myachkovo, Zaozer’ie, Kulakovo, Mikhailovskaya Sloboda, part of settlement Tel’man).

In area of “Western Power Grids” responsibility: in Odintsovo district (Andreichikov, Ugryumovo, Repishche, Spasskoye, Andreevskoye, Iglovo, Ivan’evo, Dyaden’kovo, Sergievo, Ivano-Konstantinovka, Gorbunovo, Pokrovskoye, Andriankovo, Gigirevo, Anikovo), in Istra district (villages of Glebovo, Filatovo, settlement Rumyantsevo (Savel’evskoye Shosse street), villages of Gorki, Savel’evo), in Ruzsky district (Kontemirovo, Khomyaki, Yastrebovo, Anashkino, Yumatovo, Vrazhskoye, Novaya, Mikhailovskoye, Staro, Fedchino, Gorodishche, Babino, Matveitsevo, Borzetsevo-Gorki, Anino, Strygino, Petryaikha, Denisikha, Zholobovoво, part of settlement Dorokhovo).

In area of “Eastern Power Grids” responsibility: in Orekhovo-Zuevo district (Shibanovo, Dergaevo, Averkeevo, Brozunovo), in Noginsk district (Makarovo, Shchekavtsevo), in Shatura district (Aleksino-Shatur, Pozhinskoye, Barbosovo, Pozhinsky DOZ, Sabanino).

Outages are scheduled to take place from 8 till 18 hours.
