Moscow Cable Networks Completed Works on Eastern Moscow District Medical Socially Important Objects Electric Energy Supply Reliability Increase

Moscow Cable Networks, a branch of Joint-Stock Company “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” completed works connected with provision of reliable electric energy supply of socially important objects located at the Eastern district of the capital.

In accordance with the plan, reconstruction of a transformer substation (TS) under a standard project was carried out at the service territory of Eastern District Cable Grids Administration, at Verkhnyaya Pervomayskaya Street. It allowed connection of a new laboratory diagnostic body of Izmaylpvskaya Children Hospital.

Reconstruction was complicated by increased requirements to failure-free electric energy supply of acting hospital. To keep electric energy supply reliability up at the period of TS reconstruction, a temporary external service complete distributive transformer substation (CDTS) was installed. The whole internal part of substation was modernized. Modern gas-insulated RM-6 type equipment was installed at the TS, and power of transformers was increased from 800 kVA to 2,000 kVA.

Approximately at the same period, reconstruction of another transformer substation under an individual project was carried out for more reliable electric energy provision of “National Medical Surgery Center Named After N.I.Pirogov” Federal State Enterprise. Technology of such type substation’s reconstruction requires total electric energy cut-off. Nevertheless, for failure-free and reliable electric energy supply of the medical center, two complex transformer substations were installed. New high-voltage gas-insulated equipment and 1,600 mVA airproof transformers would provide electric energy to new roentgen diagnostics department and building of in-patient department of “Rozdrav National Medical Surgery Center Named After N.I.Pirogov” Federal State Enterprise.

As Vasiliy Sergeevich Vostorgin, the Head of the Eastern District Cable Grids Administration, MCN, “Implementation of works on these objects was carried out in accordance with JSC “MOESK” investment program. Works were completed at planned time and completely, keeping with all necessary building standards and requirements as well as electric energy safety requirements. As of the moment, works at objects were completed by 100%”.
