Total length of repaired cable lines equals 98.1 km while 87.9 km used to be planned. In general, the branch has achieved a significant success in reduction of cable line damages due to implementation of leaden coverage wires and cross-linked polyethylene isolation wires for more than 10 years. In connecting and terminal fittings, a shift to thermocontractible stubs has influenced fall in cable line damageability. For further reduction of cable line damages, he branch carries out technical control during the whole period of laying and installation of cable lines. Amounts of works on replacement (reconstruction) of grids are being increased.
