From 14 June through 24 June 2011, the Third Complex Competitions of Emergency Repair Personnel of Distribution Electric Grids will be held in JSC “MOESK”. The competitions are held in order to improve the quality of works and safety in the process of maintenance of distribution grids, improve vocational skills of the personnel, and introduce new forms and methods of energy equipment management, which are aimed to decrease the number of incidents and accidents.
The testing site of Mozhaisky EGD (electric grid district), which is a part of JSC “MOESK’s” branch Western Electric Grids, was chosen as the place of carrying out the competitions.
Each branch of the Company should generate two teams with equipped brigade cars for participation in the competitions. The teams will be represented by the brigades for repair of cable, overhead lines, relay protection and automatic equipment, equipment of transformer substations, emergency field brigades, dispatchers of the district.
