On 30 April, the Stupinsky Municipal District will host the action of mass tree planting arranged by JSC “MOESK” and the Movement of Young Ecologists of the Moscow Area “Mestnye”.
IDGC Holding has acted as the initiator of the nature protection action. Planting of trees by the personnel and veterans of the electric grid complex is held in order to restore the balance of the environment after the damages caused by the forest and peat fires of July-August and ice storms of December 2010.
The action, the official opening of which is planned for 10 a.m. in Stupino city, will be held at two thematic floors: Pobedy Boulevard and Sitne-Shchelkanovo village of the Stupinsky Municipal District. The planted trees form three Alleys – those of cosmonauts, youth and power specialists.
The war veterans and workers on the home front of 1941-1945, former employees of SEG and city dwellers will take part in planting of trees at the monument to heroes-fellow countrymen in the Stupinsky District. This part of the action is timed to coincide with the 66th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Domestic War.
More than 300 trees are planned to be planted in total. The action will be held by the personnel and veterans of the electric grid complex, inhabitants of Stupino. Taking part in the action will be the management of Southern Electric Grids – the branch of JSC “MOESK” and administration of the Stupinsky District, local government institutions, ecological and public organizations.
The information on each planted tree and the employee, who planted it, will be included in the centralized databank of IDGC Holding, OJSC and special Internet map.
