Moscow Cable Grids honor Great Patriotic War veterans

The official action devoted to the 66th anniversary of the Great Victory has been held in the Administration of Moscow Cable Grids – the branch of JSC “MOESK”. 

The holiday has been arranged for the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, workers on the home front and former prisoners of the concentration camps once worked with Mosenergo and JSC “MOESK”. 

Special guests and arrangers of the action came that day to congratulate the veterans. Anna Sergeevna Tsaregorodtseva, Deputy General Director, Managing Director of JSC “Mosenergo” delivered the official speech and words of gratitude to the veterans. She congratulated the veterans on the forthcoming holiday of the Great Victory on behalf of her generation. Yury Nikolaevich Vavilov, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of JSC “MOESK” congratulated the veterans on behalf of the company management. 

Svetlana Alexandrovna Sverchkova, Chairman of the Moscow City Committee “Electric Power Trade Union” greeted the veterans saying touching words. She wished the veterans sound health and to continue being the example of patriotic service to the Fatherland for young generation for many years.

The action arrangers presented all veterans with holiday gifts and food sets.

The celebratory concert was held within the framework of the action. The national stage stars together with the veterans sang songs of military years.

Such actions are held on a regular basis at JSC “MOESK” and became a kind tradition a long time ago. Moscow United Electric Grid Company takes much care of the veterans - the people, who built the electric power industry of the Moscow Region, those who won at the war fronts, worked on the home front tirelessly providing reliable supply of electricity to the defensive enterprises of the region.
