On substation “Leninskaya” of Central Electric Networks, the branch of Joint-Stock Company “Moscow United Electric Grid Company”, 110/35/10 kV transformer Т3 with a capacity of 63 MVA was put into service after repairs.

The reason for these repairs was emergency shutdown due to damage to winding insulation. The transformer was delivered to RETO, OJSC and experts, making the diagnosis, eliminated all injuries, cleaned and repaired the insulation, replaced oil.

Repaired equipment was subjected to high voltage test and was transported to substation “Leninskaya”. After the employees of the plant and Okruzhniye high voltage grids of the South-Eastern administrative district completed installation and adjustment works, the transformer was switched on, 10 days earlier than planned.

Implemented activities ensured operational reliability of the substation and provided an opportunity for further repairs of adjacent 110 kV network.
