On the 10th of September in Astrakhan they open the All-Russian workmanship competitions of the insulation services’ teams and protection against over voltage of the electrical equipment in the distribution grid complex of IDGC Holding, OJSC.

From the 10th to the 15th of September, the final stage of the general federal competition “The best by profession” in nomination “The best electrician” will take place simultaneously on a training ground at 110/10-10 kV substation “Yubileynaya” of branch of IDGC of South, JSC – “Astrakhan’energo”. This symbolic arrangement is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Russia. Prime-minister of RF acted as its initiator in 2011, and now - the Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin, having signed a respective Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation on 07.12.2011. The main goal of the competition – is prestige increase of the skilled labor of the workers of mass nonprofessional occupations, an advocacy of their achievements and advanced experience, the youth involvement to nonprofessional occupations.

Moscow United Electric Grid Company is represented at the competitions with a team of branch of JSC “MOESK” – Northern electric grids (NEG) constituted by Deputy Chief Engineer on high voltage grids of NEG (head of the team) Gennady Nefedov, engineer Igor Kovalenko, electricians Dmitry Korol’, Vasily Labutin, Igor Vasiliev. Namely this team has become the best one among the teams on the high-voltage equipment test of the insulation services in the course of the Third complex competitions of the personnel of the high-voltage grids of JSC “MOESK” in nomination “The best team by profession of 2012”.

At the competitions MOESK will show a unique mobile laboratory for the power cables testing, power equipment and the fault localization in high-voltage power cables with the voltage up to 35 kV, created by a special order of the company. The laboratory’s advantage consists in the fact that it makes it possible to make all the complex of the tests for one connection to the power transformer: insulation-resistance test, isolation capacitance and other parameters.
