Kind Electricity Steps through Moscow Region

In the framework of the long-term program implementation as to the preventive measure of the children electric traumatism at the facilities of JSC “MOESK”, the specialists of branch Western electric grids are continuing the work on informing on a hazard of electric shock and inadmissibility of the penetration into the electrical installations. In the first days of a new school year beginning, the Electrical safety lessons are held as planned in all the regions westward the Moscow region.

A next meeting with boys and girls took place in the walls of Kursakovsk secondary school. The schoolchildren of the elementary school are getting accustomed to be self-dependent both in school and at home. That’s why an ignorance of the Electrical safety knowledge in any age can be an unapologetic mistake.

Alexander Zhigal’tsov, Deputy Head of Istra distribution zone of the Western electric grids – branch of JSC “MOESK”, reminded the gathered children in an accessible form, of the principle behavior rules near energy facilities in the street, and also how to handle in a correct way the household appliances at home and in school, and also reminded the meaning of the preventive and prohibitive sign plates and posters, such as, “Stop! Voltage!”, “Danger! Keep out!”. As Alexander Yurievich specified: “It’s our common purpose to explain to the children that while “playing” electricity the winner is not that one who is stronger – the counter force need not to be proven, but rather the winner is that one who thinks sound and weights his/her deeds”. In the meeting’s course a thematic cartoon was shown, in which they told about the behavior rules near energy facilities, broken electrical wires, about how to behave to avoid a real peril for health and life. To preserve the heard material, the power engineers held a competition of riddles on topic electricity and gave as a keepsake the thematic promotion merchandise.

Director of Kursakovsk secondary school Valentina Ushakova specified a necessity to hold regularly such classes. “Pieces of advice and precautions which are told by the specialists with the descriptive materials usage – is an efficient way to prevent accidents tied with electrical shock”.

All the arrangements on Electrical safety in education establishments, held by the specialists of Moscow United Electric Grid Company – is not a single action! Beginning from year 2010, the power engineers of the Western electric grids have held over 200 such meetings in kindergartens and education establishments of the Western Moscow Region. The attention of over 4500 children in the age from 5-6 to 17 years old was captured. From now forth, the power engineers of the Western electric grids will continue the information work on the electric traumatism prevention among the population.
