Exhibition of the creative works of off the beaten path painter, electrician-driver of Zaraysk distribution zone Vladimir Yurkevich, took place in a branch of JSC “MOESK” – Eastern Electric Grids.

Board of the veterans of Kolomna service territory of EEG, headed by Chairperson Tamara Scherbakova, took the lead of the exhibition holding. The activists visited the painter at his place and managed, so to say, to assure themselves with their own eyes for the uncommon creative talent of the master. Subsequently, the idea was supported by the branch’s executive board and trade union committee. And the author himself denoted his exhibition as a gift to the collective, coincided with the five-year jubilee of the Eastern Electric Grids.

Member of the Artists' Union of Russia Vladimir Yurkevich represented 28 works at the exhibition: copies of pieces of work of famous European artists, portraits of his relatives, friends, and also four prototypes. The fellow workers focused especially on the prototype of substation # 62 “Zaraysk” with the area of more than six square meters. It was constructed in the 30s of the last century, and represents an interest, because it has become a pioneer of the industrial power supply of Ryazan region.

Fellow workers had also an opportunity to see the prototypes of Zaraysk temples with the recreated architecture and interior design, a prototype of a suburban house on a “chicken leg” and many pictures, made without brushes and colors, using just chisels.

We shall specify, that it’s not the first exhibition in the creative biography of Vladimir Yurkevich, thanks to which his oeuvre is known far beyond Moscow Region. This summer the painter became a hero of headline “Persona” of one of the TV programs “Electroperedacha”, and after a little, TV presenter Fyokla Tolstaya did a movie on the painter’s creative work, which was seen by the spectators in the New Year’s holidays.

Colleagues of Vladimir Sergeevich and veterans of the enterprise, who visited the exhibition, could not only get acquainted with the creative work of off the beaten path painter, but as well to take part in a master class the of elements fulfilling of wood-carving, which he had demonstrated.
