Additional energy capacities will be given to Moscow as a result of removal of restrictions on formerly closed feeding centers.

Moscow United Electric Grid Company signed a decree “On approval of the list of open and closed feeding centers of 35kV and above in the city of Moscow”. Total capacity reserve was set out equal to 1,109 megawatts for the capital, excluding the territory of the new Moscow.

Starting from 1 January 2013, restrictions on grid connection will be removed from 41 energy facilities of MOESK. In 2013, as a result of reconstruction, this list will incorporate another 38 substations.

Implementation of the investment program of JSC “MOESK” and performance of energy facilities renovation solve an important problem of shortage in capacity, which is so necessary for development of business and urban environment in the capital.
