Check-out tests of a transformer T-1 of 63 MVA and installation of two control power transformers of 40 MVA each are continuing on “MOESK” substation “Sheremet’evo”, complex reconstruction of which began in the second quarter of 2011.
At the same time preparatory woks for energizing of four-section in-door switchgear of 10kV are bringing to an end in the feeding center.
In the building of the Substation Control House (SCH) direct-current boards and local distribution boards, an accumulator battery, relay protection and emergency controls, a communications system, automated information and measuring energy metering system (AIMEMS), automated process control system (APCS) have been already installed.
The cardinal reconstruction of the substation, which is included into the program “Our Podmoskov’e. Development Priorities” by A.Yu. Vorob’yov, Acting Governor of Moscow Region, will not only enhance power supply reliability of international airport “Sheremet’evo”, but will also give an opportunity of grid connection for new power consumers of Solnechnogorsk District.
