In 201, JSC "MOESK" will continue the practice of providing scholarships to the best students of specialized disciplines of the Moscow Energy Institute (MEI).
Last year, a monthly scholarship of MOESK, based on the results of the critical review of bachelor’s thesis (the 4th year), was awarded to seven students of MEI. The respective decision was also approved by the Board of Directors of JSC "MOESK".
Traditionally, selection of the best works on the topics of interest for the energy company was implemented by a special tender commission comprising of the representatives of JSC "MOESK", Directorate of institutions and the Educational and Methodical Administration of MEI. Besides, the students' progress in their studies and researches for the full period of study at the institute were taken into consideration. The personalized scholarships appointed for one semester of studies in accordance with the MEI current scholarship guides, as well as the relevant regulation of JSC "MOESK".
Such practice of support the most talented and promising young professionals has been applied at the energy company since 2011. These arrangements are set out in the Cooperation Agreement between JSC "MOESK" and MEI. Let us note as well that in 2013, the size of the monthly scholarship grew from RUR 6 ths. to RUR 10 ths.
Collaboration on the target training of students, retraining and advanced training of MOESK employees is carried out within the framework of the cooperation as well. "We are in an active dialogue with regard to development of joint positions on relevant issues of functioning and development of the electric grid complex; we cooperate in the innovation, information, scientific and other spheres" the director of the Training Center of JSC "MOESK" Yulia Shlentsova said. According to her, the energy company representatives are involved in the development and improvement of the educational programs, courses, teaching blocks of training, etc. meetings between students and professionals of the energy company are held on a regular basis – both on the basis of the Institute, and in the MOESK subdivisions. Moreover, MEI students have an opportunity to pass on-the-job training at the company's branches.
