Since the beginning of December 2014, four branches of JSC “MOESK” (a company of the Rosseti Group) introduced a new organizational structure of the distribution zone based on the mobile teams principle.

All repair and operation and field service teams in the northern, southern, western and eastern branches of MOESK officially ceased to exist. Mobile teams that combined the functions of the repair and operation and field service teams were created on their basis. The mobile team can perform a task of any complexity that falls within the maintenance, repair and operations program of MOESK, from operation and technological connection to granting permits to work for contractors.

According to Vladimir Shitin, Head of the Project Office, the mobile teams work format allowed the company to make the load on personnel more equal and make better use of the personnel potential.

One mobile team is composed of seven specialists led by a foreman who organizes appropriate work with the personnel. Currently, 215 mobile teams have been created in the company branches: 57 in Western Electric Grids, 56 in Northern Electric Grids, 52 in Eastern Electric Grids and 50 in Southern Electric Grids.

In emergency situations, due to having the rights to operate and better tools and equipment, one mobile team can identify the cause of malfunction, take measures to eliminate it and decrease the power undersupply, which ultimately reduces the total duration of repair and recovery works.

Thus, reliability of the electric grid infrastructure of the Moscow Region within the area of responsibility of JSC “MOESK” as well as qualification and labor productivity of the company personnel will be improved.
