Today the fourth webinar devoted to the topic of utility connection (UC) of consumers was held house bythe Moscow United Electric Grid Company (part of the "Rosseti" Group of Companies). The event was held jointly with the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and PJSC "Rosseti".

This time, the focus of the speakers and participants of the webinar were directed to the features of utility connection of small and medium-sized businesses, including the issue of innovations in Russian legislation in this area.

In addition to the leadership of the RF Ministry of Energy, PJSC "Rosseti" and PJSC "MOESK", the discussion was attended by Snezhana Kitaeva, Advisor to the General Director for Customer Relations of PJSC "Lenenergo", representatives of public organizations that unite and uphold the interests of small and medium-sized businesses, "OPORA RUSSIA" and JSC "MSP Corporation".

Within the framework of the webinar, Alexander Pyatigor, Deputy General Director for Utility Connection and Development of Services of PJSC "MOESK", announced that by the order of Pyotr Sinyutin, General Director of the Company, the period of utility connection of consumers has been further reduced. All contracts concluded with MOESK after February 12, 2018, will be executed within 70 days (previously up to 80 days).

Dmitry Mikheyev, Deputy Director of the Department for the Development of the Electric Power Industry of the Russian Ministry of Energy, and Alexander Korneyev, Director of the Prospective Development of the Network and Utility Connection of the PJSC "Rosseti", gave a high assessment of the work done by the power engineers to simplify the utility connection procedure.

Viewers from several regions of our country joined the online viewing of the webinar. Experts were asked questions from residents from Tver, Samara, Moscow regions. The authors of all the questions that were not answered on-air were sent to their authors by e-mail. Such active feedback demonstrates the relevance of the webinar as a form of communication with consumers, and will be continued in the future.
