P. A. Sinyutin, General Director of PJSC Moscow United Electric Grid Company, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin was awarded the MEDAL OF THE ORDER "For Merit to the Fatherland", II degree, for labor achievements, long-term diligent work and active participation in the preparation and holding of the World Cup.
Petr Alekseevich has been the head of PJSC "MOESK" since July 2012. Over the years of its work, a real breakthrough has been achieved both in production activities in the field of electricity transmission and distribution, and in the field of increasing the availability of technological connection of consumers. In particular, over five years, according to the World Bank's Doing Business rating, thanks to the reforms in the field of technological connection in terms of “Connecting to the power supply system,” Russia was included in the top ten countries, rising from last 184 places (Doing Business-2013) to 10th place ( Doing Business-2018). And last year, the World Bank team, as part of the Doing Business ranking, recognized the set of reforms to increase the availability of energy infrastructure in Russia as one of the best in the world.
Preparations for the 2018 FIFA World Cup became a key challenge for the company. Power engineers gave out about 50 MW of power to the Championship facilities. The Luzhniki Grand Sports Arena - 24 MW, about 13 MW - to the CSKA stadium. And also airports, hotels, training facilities, cafes and other infrastructure. The construction and reconstruction of about three dozen substations, as well as high-voltage power lines were carried out as part of a comprehensive program of preparation for the World Cup. It was designed in such a way as to ensure not only reliable and high-quality power supply to the Mundial facilities, but also, after the end of the Championship, to create conditions for power supply and technical connection of new consumers in Moscow and Moscow Region.
The contribution of power engineers of "MOESK" and personally of the General Director P.A. Sinyutin in the reliable and uninterrupted power supply of the 2018 World Cup was repeatedly noted by the Government of Moscow and the region.
