The largest electric grid company on the territory of the Moscow Region has completely passed the procedure for changing its legal name and is now called PJSC "Rosseti Moscow Region".

Thus, the second stage of introducing a unified brand architecture in the Moscow Region was completed. As part of the new name, the geographical reference to the activities of the organization was clarified. The name "Rosseti Moscow Region", previously MOESK, more accurately identifies the company's activities in the most densely populated - the capital area of the country.

The transition to a single brand architecture for all subsidiaries and associates was announced at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in June 2019 by Pavel Livinsky, CEO of "Rosseti".

“The Russian power grid complex has never before had a single brand that is recognizable and understandable for a wide audience,” says Russian Deputy Minister of Energy Anton Inyutsyn. "The creation of a unified corporate identity for the "Rosseti" Group will increase the recognition of the company, which supplies power to 80 regions. Consumers, in their turn, will know that one of the largest and most dynamic holdings in the country is responsible for providing them with a safe, reliable, and affordable power supply. This is a significant contribution to the overall work to increase the openness and transparency of the industry. In addition, involvement in a single brand will be a motivation for each of "Rosseti" employees to maintain the highest quality of the services provided".

Changing the name of the company will not entail changes in the rights and obligations towards consumers and contractors.
