JSC “MOESK” Made Excursion for Power Engineers Veterans to New Jerusalem Monastery

On September the 23rd, an excursion of veterans of Moscow United Electric Grid Company to “New Jerusalem” history, architecture and art museum took place. The trip was organized by the MOESK Council of Veterans with financial support of the Company. About 30 persons managed to explore the unique monument of history and architecture, including members of MOESK Council of Veterans and veterans – representatives of the Company’s branches.

Visitors have introduced themselves with topographic icon of Church of the Holy Sepulchre – Voskresenskaya Church. In addition, they have been shown grave of Patriarch Nikon, churches, and exhibition of the museum complex.

Due to Yuriy Vavilov, the Chairman of MOESK Council of Veterans, it was the second trip for this year organized specially for the Company’s veterans. The first one was devoted to 65th anniversary of the Victory when veterans went to Poklonnaya Gora.

Yuriy Nikolaevich noted that regular organization of excursions was just a part of social policy carried out by MOESK regarding veterans. The Company carries out material aid to veterans of was, participants of labor forefront, and young fascism prisoners.

Due to participants of excursion, they liked the trip but were not going to take a long rest. They have much work. In October, meeting of the Council of Veterans will take place to discuss working schedule for year 2011 and issue on establishment of a united museum of JSC “MOESK”.
