Moscow Cable Networks Implemented Electric Energy Safety Lessons at Moscow School

Representatives of Moscow Cable Networks (MCN) – branch of Joint-Stock Company “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” carried out a series of lessons on electric energy safety for pupils of 1-5 study years at Moscow school No.1271.

Marina Dmitrievna Nesterova, the Head of the Department for Labor Protection Management and Personnel Health Care of MCN, told children about electric current. She told that electric current sometimes occurs not “kind” by easing our lives, but deathly dangerous in case you behave wrong. Marina explained how dangerous it is to come to, and to all the more to enter transformer substations. She warned everyone having seen an open door of a transformer station to call the number of dispatch service pointed at the substation’s door at any time of a day to describe the situation and point out the number of the substation. Either they shall tell adults about it.

Children could also find all necessary rules of behavior in case of extraordinary situations connected with electric current in illustrated hand-out. 

Currently, our life is not possible without electricity. That’s why adults receive an important task to tell children necessary rules of electric energy safety.

To remind, over the last two years JSC “MOESK” has been actively implementing a large-scale event called “Kind Electricity for Children” on prevention of children electric energy accidents. Power engineers of the Company go to schools of the Moscow Region to carry out lessons. At these lessons they tell on rules of actions with electric current in an accessible form.
