01.01.2011

From 11:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. of 1 January 2011, 47 transformer substations were put into operation in the Podolsk District of the Moscow Area, 8 TS - in the Ramensky District, 3 TS - in the Ruzsky District, and 42 TS - in the Istrinsky District. Fifty-two trees were removed from power lines, 10 wire spans were restored, and 2 supports were replaced. The last village of the disconnected ones was put into operation on 26 December of the last year.

Unfortunately, the heavy snowfall, which occurred on the New Year's night and the gusty wind led to the loss of the steady power supply of the Moscow Area population. The loss of power occurred again at the transformer substations in a number of settlements of the Ramensky, Ruzsky, Podolsky, Shakhovskoy and some other districts of the Moscow Area.

Power specialists do their best to connect consumers as soon as possible. Now 153 brigades uniting 714 people and 50 units of special equipment are working to meet this task.
