JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” informs the population on the course of emergency elimination works in a speedy fashion

MOESK continues to inform the population and the public of the region on the course of emergency elimination works in the Moscow Area in a speedy fashion

A temporary information centre (TIC) has been created and has been operating since 2 January in each electric grid district (EGDs, which correspond to the municipal districts of the area) under the order by General Director of JSC “MOESK” in order to expand information awareness of the population about the course of emergency elimination works related with restoration of electric power supply in conditions of introduction of the emergency mode in a number of the districts of the Moscow Area. The task of TIC is to inform the local population on the course of emergency elimination works, loss of electric power and provisional time of restoration of electricity supply.

The persons on duty in the branches accepted and processed a plenty of calls. The greatest quantity of them were registered in Western and Eastern Electric Grids: 633 and 1,427 communication sessions accordingly. As a whole with respect to the branches, solely on 4 January the personnel working with TIC accepted 1,154 calls, on 5 January – 1,079; 2,233 calls were accepted for two days.

The time information centers continue to operate round the clock.

The operators of “Light Line” (8-800-700-40-70) render great assistance to the power specialists. The call center of JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” works round the clock, without breaks. Communication and objective informing of interested persons were provided as follows:

31 December 2010 – 2,286 calls were accepted.

1 January 2011 – 1,734 calls.

2 January 2011 – 3,651 calls.

3 January 2011 – 2,052 calls.

4 January 2011 - 899 calls.

5 January 2011 - 526 calls.

Total: 11,148 calls for six days were registered in the “Light Line”.
