Today Moscow United Electric Grid Company continues restoration of reliable electricity supply of the Moscow Region.

Yesterday the brigades of specialists of JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” (“MOESK”) and the specialists of IDGC Holding, OJSC, who were mobilized to come to the aid from other interregional distribution electric grid companies (IDGCs) and from JSC “UES FGC”, as well as contract organizations of IDGC Holding were carrying out the works at the power lines, which remained de-energized. In total, the power specialists liquidated the heaps of 2,211 fallen trees, restored 54 supports of PL and almost 10 km of wire for the past day at the lines of low level of voltage 0.4-6-10 kV besides the works at other voltage levels.

In the morning of 10 January 2011, 282 emergency and repair brigades (1,352 people) started to restore electricity supply of the Moscow Area. The involved special equipment is 217 units.

The primary goals are the same: clearing of the obstructions and cutting of dangerous trees, but the most important one is restoration of the normal electricity supply scheme of the Moscow Region.

Scheduled repairs will require de-energization of consumers’ devices in 18 municipal districts of the area. In particular: in the south of the Moscow Area in the Ramensky (villages Biserovo, Slobodino, Grigorovo, Korobovo) District; Domodedovsky (settlement Belye Stolby, villages Pushkino, Kutuzovo, Stepanchikovo, etc.) and Podolsky (villages Kut’ino, Lukovnya, Aleksandrovo, Valishchevo) Districts; in the north - in the Klinsky (village Skrepyashchevo), Solnechnogorsky (villages Blagoveshchenka and Bolshakovo) Districts; Dmitrovsky (villages Kuimino, Krivets, Kuznetsovo, Kutachi, Platunino, Filippovo, Ust-Strelka, Nagovitsyno, Utenino, Vysochki, etc.); Khimkinsky (settlement Firsanovka); Mytishchensky (villages Borodino, Khovrino and cluster home communities); Krasnogorsky (village Mar’ino) and Pushkinsky (villages Vasil’evo, Podvyaznovo, Artemovo, Zhilkino) Districts; in the west - in the Odintsovsky (settlements Kubinka, Podlipki, Krasnaya Gorka, Ugryumovo) and Istrinsky Districts (villages Korsakovo, Shabanovo, Mansurovo, Dolevo, Markovo, etc.); in the east - in the Orekhovo-Zuevsky (villages Vasyutino, Sofryakovo, Chukaevo, Arinino, Aksenovo, Belavino, Khalturino), and Noginsky (village Stulovo) Districts.

More than 870 inhabitants of the Moscow Area turned to the dispatchers of “Light Line” of JSC “MOESK” during 9 January 2010 with questions. All of them received necessary explanations about the course of electricity supply restoration.
