The branch of JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” - Moscow Cable Grids has finished works related with provision of reliable electric power supply of the office business center in Preobrazhenskaya Square.

The 28-storeyed building of the total area of 5,576 sq. km demands 6,620 kVA of the simultaneous load. The distribution substation (DS) with the cells SM-6 was equipped in order to ensure transmission of such power. Feeding cable lines were laid from substation #45 “Sokolniki” and substation #48 “Stromynka” of JSC “MOESK’s” branch Central Electric Grids.

The object uses the modern high-strength cable made of cross-linked polyethylene. The total length of the line in the ground is about six kilometers.

Laying cable lines, the specialists of MCG ensured safety of 354 trees and 36 bushes of various species, and replaced six trees and 130 bushes.

Commissioning of the distribution substation, feeding cable lines improved the reliability of electric power supply of not only the office complex, but also the Bogorodskoe district as a whole.

The branch Moscow Cable Grids maintain the electric grids of 0.4-20 kV and 35 kV of 69,046 km in total length and 17,243 distribution and transformer substations, which are used to transport electricity to the inhabited and public buildings, municipal facilities, electrified vehicles, industrial enterprises all over Moscow: from the Kremlin to Kurkino and Butovo, including Zelenograd and Shcherbinka.
The total number of the personnel of the branch as at the beginning of 2011 is 5,142 people.
