Moscow Cable Networks (MCN) - the branch of Joint-Stock Company "Moscow United Electric Grid Company" – carried the work on electric power supply of residential complex “Sky Fort” in the South of the capital to completion.
On the site with a total area of more than 5.28 ha two block-distribution transformer substations and nine transformer substations of total capacity over 14 MW were built by the contracting agency of MCN.

For electrification of residential complex four 10 kV feeding cable lines (CL), insulated by high endurance cross-linked polyethylene, were installed, each line continues down to 7 km. Installation of distribution cable lines, which continues down to 8 km, is accomplished. Feeding CL were installed both at open areas and on collectors.

According to specifications, approved for electric power supply of "Sky Fort", total capacity amounts to 14.5 MW, non-recurrent     load is 10.5 MW.

For the moment power engineers have performed obligations to customer. At the object works on finishing and accomplishing of surrounding area are in progress.

Complex "Sky Fort" enters into the service area of MCN’s Southern cable network administration.

According to Vladimir Pavlovich Efremov – the Head of MCN’s Southern cable network administration – “As a result of new power facilities building, supplying living quarter, power supply schematic diagram has improved for all district “Nagatino-Sadovniki”, which is full of historical heritage objects.”

Moscow Cable Networks is the branch of Joint-Stock Company "Moscow United Electric Grid Company".
Core activities are provision of services for transfer of electricity to customers and technological connection to electric grids.
0.4-20 kW and 35 kW electric grids of the total length 69 426 km and 17 243 distribution and transformer substations are in operation of Moscow Cable Networks branch, by them the transfer of electricity to residential and communal buildings, objects of municipal facilities, electrified transport, industrial enterprises is implemented throughout Moscow: from the Kremlin to Kurkino and Butovo, including Zelenograd and Shcherbinka.
The total amount of the branch personnel at the beginning of 2011 accounts for 5 142 persons.
