According to the emergency recovery works target, Moscow United Electric Grid Company supported by the brigades of power men from other SDEs of IDGC Holding restored the operation of the feeding centers of the Moscow Area energy supply system in the evening of 30 December.
This became possible owing to mass connection of power lines in the second half of 30 December. In such a manner, it took five hours – from 17.00 to 22.00 for the power specialists to energize almost twenty OL, including seven ones in Southern Electric Grids, nine ones in Eastern Electric Grids, and three ones in Western Electric Grids.
The work on restoration of electricity supply in the range of low voltage 0.4-6-10 kV will be held on the night of 30 – 31 December and within the day of 31 December.
During the night of 30 – 31 December, more than 120 brigades of power men represented by nearby 700 people will carry out emergency recovery works.

The total length of 35-220 kV power lines is 15,590 km; 35-110-220-500 kV high-voltage cable lines – 1,408 km, the total length of distribution electric grids is 121,145 km. The total of distribution and transformer substations exceeds 30 thousand pieces. The number of the personnel is 15,755 people.
