In the context of preparation for autumn and winter period of 2011-2012 Moscow Cable Networks has been conducting repair works at the subordinate power grid facilities.
Within February of the current year MCN have repaired 170 transformer and distribution substations (planned - 162 SS). 3,67 km of the overhead power transmission lines (planned – 2,84 km) have underwent the complex repair. 34 towers with voltage of 0,4-10 kV and 24 transformers have been repaired.
In February 2011, for implementation of the repair campaign, MCN has allocated about RUR 180 million.
MCN performs operation of 0,4-20 kV and 35 kV electric grids with total length of 69426 km, 17243 distribution and transformer substations by means of which power transmission to houses and public buildings, city facilities, electrified transport and industrial enterprises all over Moscow, including towns of Zelenograd and Shcherbinka, is carried out.
