According to the results of the industrial activity the release to the grid of Moscow Cable Grids (MCG) Branch of JSC “MOESK” over two months of 2011 accounted for 7 216,01 million kWh.

The productive release of MCG over January and February of 2011 accounted for 6 297,4 million kWh which is 2,8 % higher than the productive release of the electric power over the same period of 2010.

The losses plan over two months of 2011 was fulfilled and the power losses accounted for 918,61million kWh or 12,73%, together with planned index of 14,13%. In the same period of the past year the losses accounted for 15,68 %, which proves the decrease of losses over two months of 2011 by 2,95 % or 212,86 million kWh in relation to the year of 2010.

The decrease of losses in the power grids of JSC “MOESK” is one of the top priority direction in the electric power activity. To solve this task the company fulfills the set of the activities directed to the losses decrease. Over January-February of 2011 MCS saved more than 23 742 million kWh.

They regularly carry out the raids directed to the detection of the unaccounted power consumption. MСG branch of JSC “MOESK” carried out the work directed to the detection and the recovery of means by the facts of the agreementless power consumptions. Thus, over January-February of 2011they recovered over 5,849million kWh for the amount of more than RUR 23, 447million. In February they recovered more than 2,539 million kWh for the amount of over RUR 9,99 million out of them.

Besides they also carry out the optimization of the electric grids at the expense of 6-20 kV cable grids constriction, as well as the substitution of the sections (the small ones by big ones) of the cable and overhead lines if the lines are overloaded. The load in the transformer substations and the electric grids of 0,38kV is getting even.

Moscow Cable Grids is the branch of Joint-Stock Company “Moscow United Electric Grid Company”.

The main types of activity are the services rendering connected with the electric power transmission to the consumers and the technological connection to the electric grids.

Moscow Cable Grids operate of the cable grids of 0,4-20 kV and 35 kV, of 69 046 km total length and 17 243distribution and transformer substations through which they carry out the electric power transmission for the residential and social buildings, objects of the city economy, power transport, and industrial enterprises of Moscow: from Kremlin to Kurkino and Butovo, including Zelenograd and Shcherbinka.

The total population of the branch personnel accounts for 5 142 persons.
