Moscow Cable Grids Subdivision Celebrates its 50th Anniversary

On March 25, 2011, the 15^th district of the Cable Grid Management (GCM) of the Southern-Eastern district of the Moscow cable grids (MCG) – JSC “MOESK” branch celebrated its 50^th anniversary from the moment of its foundation.

All the team of the district was present at the event devoted to the 50^th anniversary. Among the respected guests were Stepan Nikiforovich Tadirka MCG Chief Engineer, former Head of 15^th district, Oleg Petrovich Chaus - Human Resources Deputy Branch Director, as well as Raisa Khafrisovna Ignatieva, MCG Trade Union Committee Chairperson.

At the beginning of the celebration the presenters told about the story of the district development and the honored workers who worked in the district during all fifty years.

Stepan Todirka took the floor with the congratulatory speech. He mentioned, “I think of the years I spent in the district with pleasure. My development as the power engineer also took place here. Many leading ideas were born in 15^th district. The plan indices in the district were the example for the people who were around me.

On behalf of Dmitriy Pavlovich Aristov, JSC “MOESK” Deputy General Director of MCG Branch, Stepan Nikifirivich expressed congratulatory words to Viktor Ivanovich Kapelev, Head of the District from Yevgeniy Viktorovich Sklyarov, Head of the City of Moscow Fuel and Power Economy department where he mentioned that the District Head was given the name of the “Honored Power Engineer of the City of Moscow ” for the impact into development of the progressive technologies and power objects operation and for the many years of devoted labor according to the Statement of the Mayor of Moscow.

The event was ended by the concert where the power engineers of 15^th district demonstrated their creative abilities.


All in all, MCG has 25 districts, 15^th district with the former name “Lyublinskiy” is one of the biggest and rapidly developing. It includes the municipal districts of Moscow South -East, such as Pechatniki, Lyublino, Mariino,Breteevo, Zhulebino, Kuzminki and others.

The Jubilee district is the place where the talented personnel were created. Many talented heads of Moscow Cable Grids once worked in this subdivision.

The total amount of the district electric grids accounted for 26 707conditional units.

The service of 15 district of MCG covers 1144 distribution substations. The length of the cable lines is – 4 000 km.

Currently, the amount of personnel is 92 persons. The service territory is - 7 319 hectares.
