Western Electric Grids Start to Get Ready to Professional Skills Competitions

Combines team of Western Electric Grids Branch of JSC “MOESK” started to get ready to the Third complex competitions of the personnel of JSC “MOESK” distribution grids. Currently they are forming the structures of the teams-participants to solve the issues of the technical provision activities.

Western Electric Grids (WEG) will represent the teams of Volokolamskiy electric grids unit headed by Valeriy Kharitonov and Lotoshinskiy electric grids unit headed by Andrey Arnautov.

The preparation of the teams is carried out together with the direct participation of the heads and specialists of the distribution grid services, Human Resources department, operative and dispatch personnel, service of the industrial safety and technical audit, labor safety and health department, material and technical support service.

6 brigades from each team will take part in the activity and one dispatcher of the district. As for the theoretical stages, the teams will go through the training in the specially created classes. Power engineers of the branch will master their knowledge and skills in the fields of operative shifts and liquidation of the possible failure situations at the educational and training sites of Shakhovskiy and Mozhaiskiy electric grids units. Western Electric Grids team participants are sure that “We are ready to win. Our goals are the result and victory!”

The representative competitions where all the teams of JSC “MOESK ” branches participate will take place at the training site of Mozhaiskiy electric grid unit. During several days from June 14 to June 24, 2011 all the participants will compete for the right to be the best among the colleagues. Each team will have to go through fourteen stages of competition where the theoretical committee will check up the theoretical knowledge of the normative documents and the level of the practical readiness of all the participants.

The main goals of the competitions: the improvement of the level of the professional readiness of JSC “MOESK” power engineers, increase of the works quality during the services rendered to the electric grids, the exchange of the experience and implementation of the new methods and forms of power grid equipment operation directed to the incidents risks decrease.
