The employees of Moscow Cable Grids – the branch of JSC “MOESK” have held lessons in electrical safety at Moscow school #1241.

The employees of JSC “MOESK” have told about the rules of electricity treatment at the lessons in the form, which is accessible for children. The children have learned what electric current represents, and that it is not only “kind”, facilitating our life, but also fatally dangerous if it is treated in a wrong way.

Christina Alexandrovna Tarasova, main specialist for labor safety and reliability issues of the Cable Grids Management of the Central District has told the pupils that it is so dangerous to come near to and particularly enter transformer substations. She has explained what to do if you find an open door of a substation or bangled electrical wire.

The pupils have fixed the material by means of gifts - illustrated training materials, which visually show how to behave in this or that situation.

Similar lessons are held by power specialists within the framework of the special project of JSC “MOESK” “Kind Electricity”. The main objective of the large-scale action supported by S. Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, is prevention of child electrical traumas.

Moscow Cable Grids is the branch of Joint-Stock Company “Moscow United Electric Grid Company”.

The branch Moscow Cable Grids operate the electric grids of 0.4-20 kV and 35 kV of 69,426 km in total length and 17,243 distribution and transformer substations, which transmit electricity to inhabited and public buildings, municipal facilities, electrified transport, industrial enterprises all over Moscow: from Kremlin to Kurkino and Butovo, including Zelenograd and Shcherbinka.

The total number of the personnel of the branch is 5,142 people.
