The branch of JSC “MOESK” – Eastern Electric Grids passed the team-headquarters training exercises in energy facilities protection. During the exercises, the emergency personnel of on-duty shifts of EEG, divisions of municipal extra departmental guards and private security enterprise “Codex – Shchit” trained in joint actions in non-standard situations.
The heads of the security agencies of the district; A.V. Konkin, deputy chief of the separate security platoon at the Internal Affairs Department of Kolomna; D.I. Ivanov, chief of the division of the private security enterprise “Codex – Shchit” attended the action as intermediaries. Supervision over the exercises was carried out by M.N. Ageev, deputy director of the branch “Eastern Electric Grids” for security and V.F. Khamatdinov, chief of the division.
One of the elements of the antiterrorist instruction in respect of facilities security - penetration of the armed group of persons into the territory of the electric grid district was trained during the exercises on the basis of the Kolomna EGD. Each participant should demonstrate precise and correct actions, showing personal qualities and the skill to make decisions in extraordinary situations. The intermediaries could complicate the task any minute by way of changing the briefing.
“The goal set forth during arrangement and carrying out of the exercises was met,” M. Ageev, deputy director of the branch for safety summed up the action. “All participants, certainly, have obtained positive experience and certain skills, developed the precise algorithm of behavior in the event of occurrence of this or that extraordinary situation. Besides, we obtained the extensive material for analysis of the further work in the field of ensuring protection of energy facilities.
Similar actions are planned to be lead in other electric grid districts of the branch within a year as well.
