The teams of the emergency repairs personnel of distribution grids of Southern Electric Grids – the branch of JSC “MOESK” are getting prepared for participation in the Third Complex Competitions of Professional Skills of Moscow United Electric Grid Company.
SEG will hold internal competitions 18 April through 29 April within the framework of preparation for the competitions. The teams of all EGD (electric grid districts) of the branch will take part in them. The brigades are included in the structure of the teams for repairs of cable and overhead lines, equipment of transformer substations, emergency field ones, as well as brigades of relay protection and automatics, dispatchers of districts. The total number of participants is 180 people.
The theoretical and practical stages of the competitions will be held in Podolsk and at the training site of the Ramensky EGD.
The teams are getting prepared for the competitions with direct participation of heads and specialists of distribution grid services, personnel management, labor safety and health departments, operations dispatching offices.
Sergey Babashkin, head of the organizing committee of the professional skills competitions, main judge of the competitions, deputy chief engineer of SEG for fieldwork noted that “the competitions are held in order to increase the professional standard of the personnel of distribution electric grids, development of rational and safe methods and ways of performance of works, rules of labor safety and technical operation of electric grids, and exchange in experience.”
Based on the results of the competitions, the judicial commission will define the best brigade and the best employees under several nominations, which will be one of the criteria for selection of representatives for participation in the competitions between the Company branches.
