In the first quarter of 2011, Moscow Cable Networks, a branch of JSC “MOESK” established power supply to three socially significant facilities in the northeast of Moscow.

To supply power to the children’s polyclinic in the Pskovskaya street, four 0.4 kV XLPE insulated cable lines were laid. The building is powered in accordance with the constant diagram for power supply.

In the Korneychuk street, using the forces of the MCN contractor, six 0.4 kV XLPE insulated cable lines with a total length of over 1 500 meters were laid. The works were made to supply power to a kindergarten. The building will be powered after the permission documents have been drawn up.

In the Malomoskovskaya Street, in order to improve reliability of power supply to Kindergarten No. 2140, powermen laid two cable lines.

Sergey Viktorovich Kapelev, the Deputy Head of the Cable Network Directorate (CND) in Complete Overhaul of the district, notes, ‘The works with these facilities were done in accordance with the Company’s investment program. As of today, powermen have managed the works at all the facilities on schedule and in full”.

Main kinds of activity include rendering services in power transport to consumers and technological connection to electric grids.

Moscow Cable Networks operate 0,4-20 kV and 35 kV electric grids with a total length of 69 426 km and 17 243 distribution and transformer substations through which power is transferred to dwelling and public buildings, municipal facilities, electrified transport vehicles, industrial enterprises in the whole Moscow: from the Kremlin to Kurkino and Butovo, including Zelenograd and Scherbinka.

The total number of the branch personnel is 5 142 people.
