Branch of JSC “MOESK” – Moscow Cable Grids completed works on electric power supply of new building of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

Together with contracting organization built-in transformer substation is mounted in new construction, on which modern equipment RM-6, two air-immersed transformers each of 1,250 kVA and low voltage assembling is installed.

In frames of executed works laying of four distribution cable lines with voltage of 10 kV with insulation from cross-linked polyethylene was carried out, herewith, because city centre is full of underground communications, method of horizontal directional drilling, which is highly complicated, was used. Total length of lines amounted to approximately one kilometer.

The 1st district of Department of Cable Grid of Moscow Cable Grids – branch of JSC “MOESK” will service this facility. As chief foreman of district Sergey Gretskiy said, “for the moment all works are performed according to existent schedule, facility is switched on constant electric power diagram”.

Moscow Cable Grids – branch of Joint Stock Company “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” was established on May, 22nd 2008.

Total number of personnel is more than 5,000 people.

Main types of activity – rendering of services on transportation of electric power to consumers and technological connection to electric grids.

Electric grids 0.4-20 kV and 35 kV with total length of 64,187 km and 16,790 distribution and transformer substations, through which transportation of electric power for residential and public buildings, municipal facilities, electrified motor transport, industrial enterprises all around City of Moscow: from Kremlin till Kurkino, Butovo, including Zelenograd is carried out, are operated by branch.
