Employee of Eastern Electric Networks becomes winner of national contest

On the eve of the 66^th anniversary of the Great Victory IDGC Holding, OJSC has announced a review competition of creative works on the theme “The mobilization potential of electric distribution networks of the complex before and during the Great Patriotic War.” Holding of the contest was initiated by the Science Department “Security Issues of Fuel & Energy Complex” of Academy of Military Sciences.

Works to the contest were sent from around the country, and to the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow – 22^nd of June – winners were unveiled. The first place was awarded to colleagues from the branch of IDGC of Center and Volga Region, JSC – “Ivenergo”, the second place was shared between works of “Altayenergo” (branch of IDGC of Siberia, JSC) and IDGC of the Ural, JSC.

Publication “Energozaslon” of Mikhail Shvakin - Chief inspector of Labour Safety Department of JSC “MOESK”’ branch - Eastern Electric Networks - won the third place.

The awarding ceremony was held during the exhibition “Memorial 2011” in Central Exhibition Hall "Manezh". At the stand of the Academy of Military Sciences the authors of the best works received diplomas and books of power engineer’s memoirs about the Great Patriotic War.
