Power engineers of branch of JSC “MOESK” – Central Electric Grids sum up the totals of the works fulfillment on the energy facilities reconstruction in 2012. The capital investments were assimilated actually for over RUR 3,7 bln., and the plan had been RUR 3,4 bln. The excess amounted to 9 percent.

Carrying out of a reconstruction of power transmission lines, a substitution of the obsolete substation equipment, fulfillment of the design and survey works were determined to be the main trends of the investment program.

Totally 17,5 km of 110-220 kV high-voltage lines were reconstructed. Some of them were constructed as early as in the 40-50s of the last century. Now 110 kV OL “Leningradskaya A, B”, 110 kV OL “Novobratsevo – Svoboda”, 220 kV OL “Chagino– Yuzhnaya” have got the second life.

Thanks to the power equipment renovation, 875 MVA of the production capacities have been introduced. 110 kV Substations (SS) “Tkatskaya”, “Rizhskaya”, “Troparevo”, “Lomonosovo” have become the investment program’s priority facilities, where the power transformers, reactors, factory-assembled switch-gears, oil circuit breakers have been substituted. The new microprocessor-based relay protection, the modern communication equipment, automated process control systems have been installed simultaneously.

To get ready to the facilities reconstruction in 2013, the design and survey works were carried out on 110 kV power transmission lines “Ochakovo-Nemchinovka1, 2”, “Novobratsevo-Khovrino”, “Ochakovo-Fili”, as well as on substations “Mayakovskaya”, “Nikitskaya”, “Krylatskaya”, “Strogino”, “Tushino”, “Zubovskaya”.

In the opinion of Director of the Central Electric Grids Roman Voynov, the investment program implementation will make it possible to satisfy the growing requirements with regard to the grid connection to the electric grids, and also will increase essentially the power supply reliability of the capital city’s consumers.
