On 18 December 2012, as part of the index reform, a uniform calculation base of MICEX and RTS indices was put into effect. The calculation includes shares of 50 companies with the highest market capitalization, they includes the securities of JSC “MOESK” as well.
It should be noted that the Company’s shares were included in the MICEX Index for the first time, and JSC “MOESK” became one of the three companies in the electric grid sector which pertain to the calculation base together with JSC “UES FGC” and IDGC Holding, OJSC.
As at now, the shares of JSC “MOESK” participate in calculation of the following indices:
MICEX Index;
- RTS Index;
- Index of shares of companies of MICEX standard capitalization (MICEX MC);
- Index of shares of energy sector companies (ruble value - MICEX PWR, dollar value - RTSeu).
MICEX Index and RTS Index are key indicators of Russian stock market; MICEX Index is calculated in the national currency, RTS index - in U.S. dollars.
