The final stage of reconstruction includes reconstruction of a large feeding center “Ignatovo”, which supplies electricity to the city of Dmitrov, located in the Moscow Area, and the population of which is 60 thousand people. End of modernization of one of the largest substations in the Dmitrov Electric Grids District of the branch Northern Electric Grids of JSC “MOESK” is scheduled for 2013.

The reconstruction will allow for connection of new consumers to the electricity grid of Dmitrov, where residential and industrial construction is growing rapidly.
The first phase of the reconstruction of “Ignatovo” S was held in 2006. Then, the substation of almost a half of a century old was made by energy specialists a modern feeding center, meeting all requirements. Here switchgears of 110 kV and 10 kV including using modern gas-insulated circuit breakers, electronic terminals made by the company “Siemens” were installed; reliable scheme of relay protection system based on the modern element complex was arranged, which will increase reliability and safety of the energy facility and adjacent grids.

The substation “Ignatovo” is an object included in the investment program of JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company”. The final phase of the reconstruction of the substation “Ignatovo” includes reconstruction of an open and closed switchgear of 35 and 6 kV.
