Reconstruction of Substation “Farforovaya” in North of Moscow Area Will Start in 2013

The branch of JSC “MOESK” – the Northern Electric Grids (NEG) has developed a program of reconstruction of the substation “Farforovaya", located in the responsibility zone of the Taldomsky Electric Grids District.

Reconstruction of the substation will begin in 2013 with signing of a contract with the porcelain plant “Manufactura Gardner” (formerly named Verbilki Porcelain Plant) for operational maintenance of two lines (feeders), coming from the substation “Tyagovaya” to “Farforovaya”. After their repairs, technicians of the Northern Electric Grids will be able to increase load current up to 300 amperes, as well as feed a part of load from the substation “Ekran” through 6 kV distribution grids.

The arrangements between the energy specialists and business will also allow NEG’s specialists to bring in order electric grids of the plant, which, in its turn, will provide, if necessary, rapid redistribution of load through distribution grids of the Taldomsky District, improve reliability of power supply for population. Within the framework of implementation of the second stage of construction, 10 kV double-circuit overhead line will be constructed from 10 kV “Ekran” substation to “Farforovaya” of 14 km in length and distribution center, and two power transformers of 6.3 MVA and nominal voltage of 10/6kV will be installed.

Reconstruction of the substation “Farforovaya” is performed within the framework of the investment program of JSC “MOESK”, which includes both new construction of facilities and renovation of existing ones.
