More than a hundred of Moscow rinks will be provided with electricity by the end of 2012. All the necessary works related with connection of ice rinks to electric grids are performed by Moscow Cable Grids (MCG) – a branch of JSC “MOESK”.

Pavel Bida, head of the state public institution “Directorate of Customer of Housing and Utilities Infrastructure and Improvements” of the Eastern Administrative District sent a letter of gratitude to Pyotr Sinyutin, head of JSC “MOESK”, in which he expressed appreciation to energy specialists of the Cable Grids Administration of the Eastern Administrative District of Moscow Cable Grids – a branch of JSC “MOESK”.

On behalf of the Directorate of Customer of Housing and Utilities Infrastructure and Improvements, Pavel Bida thanked the MCG’s personnel for quick solution of issues, which are related with organization of electricity supply to rinks with artificial ice and associated infrastructure in the Eastern Administrative District.

Owing to the coordinated work and professionalism of energy specialists and SPI “Directorate of Customer of Housing and Utilities Infrastructure and Improvements”, a territorial component of the city rinks building program was implemented successfully and within strict deadlines in the Eastern Administrative District. They had to build and put into operation new substations to connect some facilities. In particular, a package transformer substation of type 2BKTP-2x400kVA was commissioned at Shchelkovskoe Highway 2. Four 0.4 kV cable lines were laid from this TS and commissioned. They supply electricity to the ice rink.

Currently Moscow Cable grids are finishing connection of rinks to electric grids, which are stipulated in the city program in the rest of the administrative districts.
