On 23.11.2012 the institute of electric-power industry MEI, a s legal successor and successor to the traditions of the Electro-energy faculty celebrated its 80th jubilee. On this day the friends and colleagues from the leading HEIs and energy companies of Russia came to Alma Mater of the electro-energy branch. At the solemn arrangement the teachers and students of the Institute were congratulated by the following people from JSC “MOESK”: Deputy Director General for the personnel management Nadezhda Kreneva, Deputy Technical Director for the distribution grids Andrey Miridonov and Deputy Director of the department for the organizational designing and staff Sergey Novikov.

“On behalf of the employees of Moscow united Electric Grid Company, many of whom graduated from the glorious electro-energy faculty, I express a profound gratitude to the teachers, who preserve the firm traditions of the highly-skilled professionals training for the electric-power industry”, - specified in her speech Deputy Director General the personnel management Nadezhda Kreneva. The representatives of JSC “MOESK” made an innovative present to the Institute – an interactive board. This modern training device will be a big support in the good quality training of would-be power engineers.

29112012_267.jpgThe electro-energy faculty (EEF) of Moscow Power Institute was founded in 1932. In 1999 EEF was reorganized into Electric Power Institute (EPI). In EEF and EPI they taught and teach students, grad students, probationary employees from USSR, Russia and those from more than 60 countries of the world.

Within the framework of training, retraining and advanced training of the personnel, MOESK cooperates actively with Moscow Power Institute. One of the trends of cooperation with MEI is a target training of young specialists for the work in the Company. MOESK has the experience of the target training of students in MEI, according to three sided (apprenticeship) agreements. For the last five years seven students were taught in MEI under apprenticeship agreements.

29112012_265.jpgCurrently the issue is considered on the educational programs adaptation for magisters’ training in trend “electric power industry” to the needs of JSC “MOESK”.

In 2012 JSC “MOESK” accepted 30 students of Electric Power Institute MEI for the introductive training. The students visited different electric grid facilities: transformer substations, grid management Center etc., where the Company’s heads and specialists worked with them. The group of students- trainees of MEI visited also the III complex competitions of the personnel of the high-voltage grids, which took place at a special-purpose testing venue of Ramensky distribution zone.

Besides that, in 2012, six diploma students were accepted for the pre-graduation practical training with the job placement to the Company’s branches.
