A letter of gratitude addressed to Petr Sinyutin, Director General of JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company”, was received from the management of the Federal State Budget-Financed Institution “Rehabilitation Center” of the Administrative Department of the President of the Russian Federation for prompt restoration of power supply facilities of the medical institution and residential settlement of the sanatorium named after A.I. Herzen, which was disturbed through the fault to a third party.
It happened on 26.03. at 14:50. As a result of violation by a third party of safety rules performing excavations near the village Chapaevka of the Odintsovo District, a blackout of 6 kV cable line owned by JSC “MOESK”. Energy specialists of the Western Electric Grids – the branch of JSC “MOESK” immediately arranged an emergency headquarters and started rescue and restoration operations.
FSBFI “Rehabilitation Center” of the Administrative Department of the President of the Russian Federation and other customers were promptly fed by four mobile power plants with the total capacity of 1,100 kW. Emergency repair crews and operating staff started to perform necessary repairs.
A mobile laboratory as delivered to the place of the accident, which performs measurement of parameters of the cable line and electrical equipment, as well as other special equipment was delivered. Simultaneously, electricity supply of concerned consumers was switched to the backup scheme.
It took 13 hours to hold emergency recovery operations. Thanks to the coordinated actions of energy specialists of JSC “MOESK”, at 03:58 of 27.03. electricity supply was fully restored.
