MOESK energy specialists, a year ahead of time, powered the first phase of the residential neighborhood “Butovo Park”, with a total of 6,900 apartments. The total capacity of the connection was 9,000 kW.
According to the contract, originally grid connection was planned to be performed in April 2014. However, the developer asked MOESK a deferral of the deadline to an earlier date.
Taking into account the socially value of the residential complex, the branch of JSC “MOESK” - Central Electric Grids treated the issue for search for solutions to power new building sites well ahead of the planned date in a responsible manner. According to the results of the technical analysis of 220 kV “Butovo” substation equipment, the best option of energy connection was found through performing startup and adjustment works in 10kV cells of the switchgear and control gear. Successful technical solution allowed to save considerable resources for the company.
In its turn, a contractor engaged in construction of electrical grids in “Butovo Park” also reduced the period of electrical works to connect the developed area by a whole year.
