Power Supply to MOESK Consumers is Not Interrupted by Snowfall 26.03. 2013

Heavy snow shower and gusty wind, occurred on the 24-25th of March, didn’t affect the steady operation of JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” electric grids and equipment. Continuous power supply to the consumers has been secured. Regime of high alert has been abolished in JSC “MOESK” from 8 a.m. on the 26th of March.

Let us recall that on the 24-26th of March, 286 field service and emergency restoration teams of MOESK power engineers, with the total number of 820 persons and 300 pieces of equipment, worked in special readiness regime and under regime of high alert in Moscow and Moscow Region. 230 teams, consisting of 685 persons and 296 pieces of equipment, as well as auxiliary forces from the contractor organizations, were ready for use.
