Branch of JSC “MOESK” - Western Electric Grids has started reconstructing 110/10/6 kV substation (SS) “Pernatovo” in Istra region.

At the present time designing has been fulfilled, new equipment is being purchased and transported to the construction site. Subfoundation works are being performed in the substation’s territory. In the renovation course of the feeding center, two power autotransformers by 63 MVA will be installed instead of two obsolete transformers by 25 MVA. So, the substation’s output capacity will be increased by 2.5 times and will amount to 126 MVA. Additionally, the project stipulates a building construction of 10 kV indoor switchgear (ISG). The given installation is meant for a receipt and distribution of electric power to consumers and auxiliary power supply. Cabinets of 10 kV factory-assembled switchgear, vacuum circuit breakers, current-limiter reactors will be installed in the new building.
Reconstruction works of the substation will be completed in 2015.

Arrangements held at SS “Pernatovo” are being fulfilled within the framework of the investment program of JSC “MOESK” and are aimed at the qualitative and continuous power supplying of Istra region’s consumers. By the words of Victor Ivanov, chief engineer of the Western Electric Grids: “Over 450 MVA of the transformer capacity have been introduced for the last two years in the course of reconstruction and construction of the new facilities. It has become possible owing to a big work in renovating of the main existing feeding centers: “Sloboda”, “Dedovo” and construction of new substation “Polyanka””.

Power engineers of JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” do their best, for the long-awaited qualitative and reliable power supply to come to each house of Istra region’s consumers. Favorable conditions are also created for the new subscribers’ connection to the electric grids of JSC “MOESK”.
