As part of implementation of the investment program, the specialists of the branch of JSC “MOESK” – “Southern Electric Grids” completed works of connecting of a number of facilities in the most remote area of the southern Moscow Area – Serebryanye Prudy, to the electricity grid.

Two block-modular packaged transformer substations with the capacity of 160 and 250 kVA were installed and 0.4 and 10 kV power lines of more than 2 km in total length were built to supply electricity to cottage districts “Topolya” and “Vostochniy”.

According to Konstantin Skripaj, head of the Serebryanye Prudy electric grids district, energy specialists not only strive to meet the obligations in respect of connection of new consumers to the grids of the company in time, but also take steps to improve quality of transmitted electricity. As an example, over RUR 2 mn were assigned for reconstruction of the distribution grids in the village Petrovskie Vyselki for this purpose. Currently, a new pole-mounted transformer substation (PMTS) has been installed there, 10 kV and 0.4 kV lines were built to connect PMTS and supply electricity.

n spring, MOESK’s energy specialists will expand works at other sites of distribution grids in the Serebryanye Prudy districts as well. The investment program of the Southern Electric Grids includes 180 facilities located here. It is planned to spend more than RUR 114 mn for renovation and expansion of the 0.4/6/10 kV distribution grid.
