The branch of JSC “MOESK” - Western Electric Grids started reconstruction of the 110/10/6 kV “Yadroshino” substation in the Istra District. During modernization of the feeding center, transformer capacity will grow 2.5 times to 126 MVA.
By now, one of the two 63 MVA transformers has been delivered to the construction site and is being prepared for installation. Energy specialists started to adjust the fire fighting system at this facility, and work of installing 110 kV vacuum gas-insulated circuit breakers will start in the near future. Additional 2 sections of 10 kV are planned to be installed for transit of capacity in the 10 kV indoor switchgear (IS).
The works of renovation of the feeding center will significantly improve reliability and quality of electricity supply of the rapidly growing Istra District, as well as create the opportunity to connect new subscribers to the electrical grids of JSC “MOESK”. Completion of the comprehensive reconstruction of the substation is scheduled for 2013.
