In order to increase the Company’s activity transparency the work on creation of the Report in the sphere of stable development for 2012 continues in JSC “MOESK”. Traditionally JSC “MOESK” vision of its impact to Moscow region’s economy development is presented in social reporting, management of influence on social sphere and initiatives on negative influence reduction on environment is reflected. Priority topics of the Report for 2012 are electric power supply reliability, client-oriented approach increase, anti-corruption enforcement and effective personnel management of JSC “MOESK”.

IMG_0350.JPGWith the view that the Company’s activity results were disclosed comprehensively and impartially, Public consultations took place in May, at which JSC “MOESK” discussed with its stakeholders draft final version of the Report and listened to proposals on its revision.

Both the Report and activity results themselves were highly praised by the experts. For example, Arkady Zamoskovniy, Director General of ORAEL (Union of Electric Power Industry Employers), told that the Company is functioning at the extremely tight labor market of Moscow and Moscow region, on account of which data on outstripping growth rate of average salary, staff turnover reduction, positive dynamics of the staff satisfaction in work in the Company, contained in the Report deserves high appraisal.

Dilyara Karimova – Head of the Sector of global problems of stable power development and climate of International centre of stable power development under the auspices of UNESCO, pointed out that comprehensive data on the Company’s activity results in the sphere of environmental protection are presented in the Report, and also proposed to pay attention to the topic disclosure on resource efficiency in the next year.

Rashid Taktashev – expert of the Presidium of OPORA RUSSIA, noted that a significant section on JSC “MOESK” innovational activity is disclosed in details in the Report, and advised to invite for dialogues and public consultations of the Report representatives of educational institutions (institutions of higher education, secondary training schools, vocational training schools) in future.

As Head of Department for personnel development of JSC “MOESK” Oleg Trofimov said, “This year a significant step forward was made on the way of the Company’s non-financial reporting development. For the first time we managed to engage stakeholders to the activity of the Report’s preparation”. In fact, on March, 15 of the current year a dialogue with the interested parties took place in the Company on the topic “Production safety management”, and on April, 12 – on topic “Anti-corruption enforcement: problems, instruments and public expectations”. The aim of these arrangements was collection of proposals and requests of the interested parties on the information disclosure in the Report to improve its quality. “Most of the proposals, expressed in the dialogues, were taken into account while the Report preparation”, - Oleg Trofimov said.

Stakeholders’ proposals and notes to JSC “MOESK” activity were also paid attention to and were fixed in plans and liabilities regarding issues of corporate social responsibility and stable development, which the Company’s undertakes.

The Report in the sphere of stable development is an important document, which contributes to the Company’s positive image, client attraction, and what is more important – increases the degree of employees’ participation in labor collective life.
